Cloud-based service gets self-managed cloud infrastructure that helps product sales filter data, gain an overview, and make data-driven decisions for the business.
The Challenge
The client follows the practice of storing the product & invoice data on the Snowflake database. The client team used Salesforce to check the invoice data on respective accounts from each month and year.
The team wanted to know which products were invoiced monthly and yearly for clear reporting and overview, but they didn’t need to import all the data into Salesforce—just an overview.
The Solution
CSL delivered solutions to the client by performing the following tasks.
Established the REST API Integration with Snowflake database using Auth provider and named credential to fetch the required data.
Designed a customized component for the Account Record Page which displays the required information of product and invoice based on the product levels and invoice dates.
